Pompano Beach Republican Club To Hear McCain Supporters

In an effort to bring Republicans together behind presumed Republican presidential nominee John McCain, two supporters of the Arizona senator will speak at the next meeting of the Greater Pompano Beach Republican Club on Thursday, February 28, 7:30 p.m., Emma Lou Olson Center, 1801 N.E. 6th St., Pompano Beach.

Yomin Postelnik, President of IRPW Business Development, has extensive experience in business and non-profit development and has helped many Florida corporations and organizations grow. He publishes “The South Florida Newsletter for Business Growth” and BusinessGrowthTrends.com. Postelnik has lectured on historic, social and economic issues and their affects on society. An ordained rabbi, he also gives classes on Judaism and morality in Lighthouse Point.

Dennis Myers, former president of the Greater Pompano Beach Republican Club, served as northeast Broward County co-chair of President Bush’s reelection effort in 2004. He also co-chaired the northeast Broward area for Gov. Charlie Crist in 2006. Myers, a Vietnam veteran, served on the same aircraft carrier as Sen. McCain in 1967. He works for Broward County and serves as a lector with St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Pompano Beach.

Postelnik and Myers will appeal for unity as McCain begins his campaign for the White House.
